I know how real this story is. I was married to Michelle (aka Chellie) back in the stone age. I knew her parents very well. I can say very truthfully that Michelle's mom was an awesome and loving woman. She continued to love and care for me long after I was no longer married to her daughter, and I loved her. I teared up while reading this story, as I could see it so clearly in my mind! May she rest in peace!

🀯 Omg that hit home hard! Beautiful! I can picture your moments, reminds me of my grandmother and I. Now as an adult I realize how special those moments were to her, my siblings and I. It’s awesome that you hold really great memories like these close to heart. It always help and heal when weathering a storm.

This was a lovely story, Chellie. I can picture every ooey gooey moment. I remember similar moments with my Dad. I miss our Wednesday dinners out as adults, and our "dates" when I was a kid. It's great to have memories like this to focus on. Sometimes we lose track of the most beautiful things among the muck of life.....
