Join Me for Wander & Wonder
Exploring books, nature, curiosity, and awe within the Learn, Grow & Thrive community.
Over the past few months, I have noticed a thread weaving its way through Learn, Grow & Thrive.
Whether through books, conversations, nature, or moments of awe, I kept returning to the same ideas:
Curiosity.
Reflection.
Connection.
Wonder.
I began calling this space of curiosity Wander & Wonder.
Many of the moments that inspire this community are quiet ones.
Moments that ask us to slow down, pay attention, and become fully present.
One such moment arrived unexpectedly in my garden.

Awe rarely announces itself.
More often, it arrives in silence.
I sat in my garden, breathless as a hawk glided toward me and settled nearby.
I looked at him, and he gazed outward toward the trees.
Each of us silent.
No phones.
No pictures.
Just us, and the memory of that moment carved deeply into my heart.
I wonder why the hawk felt safe sitting there.
I wonder why I did not shudder.
In those moments of stillness, my breath slowed. It flowed with ease.
The world seemed to soften around us.
And when he finally chose to fly away, he left me with a feeling that can only be described as awe.
I have become fascinated with awe.
Not only because it leaves us speechless, but because it changes us.
Research suggests that experiences of awe can support our well-being, helping us slow down, broaden our perspective, and feel more connected to ourselves, one another, and the world around us.
Awe can be found everywhere:
In a hawk resting nearby.
A star-filled sky.
A conversation that shifts our perspective.
A book that stays with us long after we turn the final page.
These moments invite us to pause, notice, and remember that we are part of something larger than ourselves.
That curiosity is what inspired Wander & Wonder.
This summer, I am introducing Wander & Wonder, a new part of the Learn, Grow & Thrive community dedicated to curiosity, reflection, books, nature, and awe.
